25 May COVID-19 Update No. 6
When life gives you oranges and limes …
Just a little update on our opening hours. We will be staying the same this week, which is Tuesday and Thursday, 9 to 12. From next week (2 June) we will be opening Tuesday and Thursday 9 to 3 and Wednesday, 9 to 12. Small changes for now to see how my poor achey Ross River inflamed body goes with the extra hours. If you require things outside these hours we are more than happy to take your order over the phone and either courier or leave out for collection. We will be continuing to ask all visitors to the shop to use the supplied antibacterial gel prior to entering and to keep practising physical distancing of 1.5mtr while in the shop. We would also ask that you attempt to keep visits short and sweet (which if anybody knows me is hard as I love a chat!). We also ask that if you are feeling unwell to make your order over the phone or via email. We will also be re-stoking the kilns from next week. I will be attempting to do this in a rather controlled manner so would ask you to ring or email to book in. Initially there will be a limit of 1kg per person for each type of firing. I’m doing this so I don’t get overwhelmed as I’ve had a lot of enquiries. We’ll see how this works for a little while before going back to normal.
As for classes we will wait until the government gives the go ahead on this front. We unfortunately don’t have the space to keep all the wheels a metre apart. Thank you for everybody who has enquired about classes, hopefully it won’t be too much longer until we can rev them up again.
Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your baby steps back out into existence. We will definitely be keeping some of our isolation hacks in play for now and attempt to keep treading gently on the earth.
Stay safe and happy and thanks again for your support during this time x
