Beginners Sunday Wheel 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

This two day course runs over consecutive Sundays.

Lead by our expert teacher, Tash of Sunday Ceramics. you will learn how to prepare clay for throwing, centre the clay on the wheel, create a cylinder and bowl, trim your piece, add handles and apply colourful slip surface decoration to add your own personal touch.

The beginners course is perfect if you are new to the pottery wheel.

WHAT YOU WILL GET:

The course includes everything you will need, clay, tools, coloured slips for decoration, tuition as well as bisque and glaze firing of your pieces.

Your work will be glazed and glaze fired and ready to collect 4-5 weeks after your course. The pieces you make will be functional, food safe vessels, but the focus is on the techniques you will learn and the experiences you have learning to throw!

Two Sundays

10:00 Am - 4:00 PM (both days)

Workshops are all held at Northern Rivers pottery Supplies, our new space is located in Goonellabah industrial estate, at 31 Centenary drive. We are in between Ongmac and bumblebee daycare. There aren't a lot of food options nearby so bring some lunch or snacks with you. 

REFUND POLICY:

If your class is unable to go ahead you will receive a full refund, if you cannot attend your class please contact us and you may transfer your booking to a friend or if there is enough notice, we can try to fill your space before the class date. If we are able to replace your spot we can offer you a credit for a future class or give a full refund.
